Tournments and Practice SCHEDULE

• • Session 1: Practices will run from November 3rd - December 31st

  • Session 2: Practices will run from January 1st - February 28th

  • Postseason: Practices will run from March 1st - MYWAY States

(Session 3 will also be open to the middle school wrestlers who would like to continue to compete at MYWAY tournaments.)  

Wrestlers will be grouped by age & experience:

• • Gold:  Beginners (K - 4th)

  • Maroon:  Experienced (3rd - 6th)

Practices for each group will be two days per week, from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, held at Mill Creek Middle School Cafeteria.   

• • Gold:  Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:00pm - 7:30pm

  • Maroon: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00pm - 7:30pm

• TRY IT OUT- FOR FREE!  

***For those who have never wrestled before:  come to the first DWC practices of the season and try it out!   Simply bring your child on November 3rd & 5th and sign a waiver (provided by the club).

• When/Where?

Join us November 3rd & 5th at the Mill Creek Middle School Cafeteria. It's completely free!

• How to Join?

Just bring your child to Mill Creek Middle School Cafeteria on November 3rd or 5th. Sign a waiver there; no need to sign up in advance!

• What to Expect?

Your child will enjoy fun introductory activities, learn basic moves, and experience the sport's energy and teamwork with experienced coaches ensuring a safe, exciting time. It's a great chance to learn, boost confidence, and find a new passion!

11/24/24:  Grass Lake (Cascades)

12/15/24:  Pinckney

1/12/25:  DEXTER

1/19/25:  Columbia

1/26/25:  Dark Horse/Saline

2/16/25:  Manchester

2/23/25:  Plymouth Canton

3/09/25:  Regionals - Milan   

3/16/25:  Novice Championship (for wrestlers with 2 years or less experience)

3/22/25:  MyWay STATES**

                  ****NOTE that your wrestler will need to do (2) MMWA tournaments to compete at the MMWA regional event.  

               *****Your wrestler will need to do (2) MYWAY  tournaments to qualify to compete at MYWAY State event. 

The week before each tournament, the club will send an email with the details for the event.  

• Parents:  At all tournaments, use https://www.trackwrestling.com/ for your wrestlers matches.
